How to choose guide light?

2024-05-16

Guide light, a combination of "track" and "lamp" lamps, also known as track lights or guide spotlights.

Because it can be moved according to demand, orientation, adjust the Angle of exposure at any time, whether it is very convenient to increase or decrease or replace, it is loved by commercial, galleries, museums and other lighting scenes.

But how to choose the guide light?

In the past, Lyford has shared the classification of guide lights with different light sources and how to install and maintain them. Today, Xiaobian will share with you the classification of the first stage guide lights with the type of track. How should you choose according to your needs?

According to the number of conductive lines inside the guide rail, it can be divided into two lines, three lines, four lines, five lines, six lines, etc., of which two, three, four lines are currently commonly used track types.

Two and three lines are similar, all for single loop control (lamps on the same guide can only be unified switch, can not be separated control), the difference is that the two line guide rail built-in 1 zero 1 fire two line (ground line is generally placed outside the guide rail), the three line guide wire has become the internal design of the guide rail, so there are 1 zero 1 fire 1 ground three line, so some professional and technical personnel, in the face of special application requirements, There are also cases where the three-wire guide ground wire is shared as the neutral line and transformed into two loops to achieve sub-loop control (Note: it is not recommended to transform the behavior by itself).

There are three fires and four conductive wires inside the four-wire guide rail, that is, the same guide rail can be divided into three circuits of control, and the four-wire guide light with gear adjustment function can be used during installation to achieve the needs of different scenarios.

For example:

Four four-wire guide lights 1, 2, 3 and 4 on a four-wire track, with lights 1 in first gear, lights 2 in second gear, and lights 3&4 in third gear. At this time, with 3 switches, multiple scene changes can be achieved:

① Switch 1 controls light 1

② Switch 2 controls light 2

③ Switch 3 controls lights 3&4

Five-wire and six-wire are relatively rare, but there are some applications, commonly seen in DALI control systems, of which two lines are used as DALI signal lines. In summary, according to the control needs of the scene, such as only requiring a single loop to control the guide light of 2/3 of the track, requiring sub-control requires more than 4 lines, and if you need system control, choose 5/6 lines.

▼ Six-track track

This is the sub-control system of the four-wire guide rail.

▼ Four-line guide scene control (realize different scene switch control on the same guide rail)

For different line tracks, the use of power supply has no special requirements, and can be selected according to the power and function of the lamp. However, because the power supply of the guide lamp is mostly built-in installation (the lamp body or the guide rail box is built in), the ambient temperature of the power supply is high, so the heat dissipation function of the power supply must be better.

Take Lyford guide lamp special power supply GIF-YFII/GIC-YS series as an example:

①MINI core flagship series GIF-YFII is mainly designed for the built-in installation of rail box. After upgrading, the first grille opening and bottom shell fixed structure can strengthen heat dissipation, and can be used at 55℃ ambient temperature. Can also be shipped with only the bottom shell, once again strengthen the heat dissipation capacity at the same time, to solve the problem that the bare plate can not be directly bonded.

② High-end guideway GIC-YS series is mainly designed for the installation mode of guideway lamp. The half-tank rubber structure is that the product Ta can reach 60 ° C, and Teflon wire is used to eliminate the hidden danger of broken skin.
